SALMA TUQAN

Salma Tuqan is a Contemporary art and design curator and Deputy Director of Delfina Foundation (London). Prior to Delfina Foundation she was the Contemporary Middle East Curator at the V&A for eight years, where she was responsible for Middle Eastern art and design programming at the museum.

She has contributed to other projects as an independent curator and facilitator, including Palestine c/o Venice at the 53rd Venice Biennale (2009) and the Wind Tunnel Project in Farnborough (2014). She works closely with cultural organisations on strategy and is a committee member of the Arab Image Foundation (Beirut), The Palestinian Museum (Birzeit), The Khatt Foundation (Amsterdam), and Strategic Advisor to NuMu (Guatemala City).

TAYMOUR GRAHNE

Between 2013 and 2017, Taymour founded and directed Taymour Grahne Gallery in New York, where he presented an ambitious, challenging, and rigorous exhibition program, which featured shows by some of the most exciting emerging and mid-career artists of today, including Maia Cruz Palileo, Hassan Hajjaj, Nicky Nodjoumi, Whitney Bedford, Zineb Sedira, and Radames Juni Figueroa, among others.

DANNY BÁEZ

Danny Báez is a regular and normal guy originally from Quisqueya, Dominican Republic. A former Advertising Major at UNAPEC and a Printmaker at Columbia University's LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies, Báez is now living and working in the greater New York Area. Baez has been dedicated to the art ecosystem for the past 12 years, where he started his tenure under the tutelage of renowned Thai artist Rirkrit Tiravanija. He also went on to work under British Art dealer Gavin Brown for a decent amount of years.

Baez is also the Co-Chair of the Young Collectors Board (CNTMPRNS) at El Museo del Barrio; also a member of The Independents at ICI and FUTURE FAIR Advisory Board Member, in New York City.

He’s been pursuing both introspection and cooking equally throughout this quarantine. Moreover, he has high hopes of servicing his fellow human beings.... and yes, a couple of animals too.

DEXTER WIMBERLY

Dexter Wimberly is an independent curator and entrepreneur who has organized exhibitions and developed programs with galleries and institutions throughout the world including The Third Line in Dubai; Contemporary Art Museum CAM Raleigh in North Carolina; The Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) in San Francisco; Koki Arts in Tokyo; and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City. His exhibitions have been reviewed and featured in publications including The New York Times, Artforum, and Hyperallergic; and have received support from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Wimberly has also served as Director of Strategic Planning at Independent Curators International in New York City. Wimberly is a Senior Critic at New York Academy of Art. He is also the founder of ART WORLD CONFERENCE, a business and financial literacy conference for visual artists. He and ART WORLD CONFERENCE co-organizer, Heather Bhandari were recently listed in the Observer's "Arts Power 50: Changemakers Shaping the Art World in 2019."

CHRISTIAN REX VAN MINNEN

Christian Rex van Minnen (born 1980) is an American artist who lives and works in California. van Minnen creates highly detailed paintings, monotypes and sculpture that focus on a layering of both paint and narrative, expanding the potentiality of contrasts in values, textures and emotions. He is represented by Future Fair exhibitor Richard Heller Gallery.

JESSICA LEVY

Jessica Levy is an Art Advisor based in Long Island, New York. She founded JL Art Advisory in 2010 and also co-founded Hourglass Advisory in 2018. Jessica earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Michigan which gave her the opportunity to work hands-on with various mediums such as ceramics, lithography, photography, textiles and painting. After graduating she entered NYU for her Masters of Fine Art concentrating in ceramic sculpture. In 1998 during her MFA program, Jessica found a community of contemporaries that were interested in buying art, but we’re overwhelmed by the “new Chelsea” environment. It was at this point where Jessica pinpointed her uniqueness in the enjoyment of embracing the psychological connection of why people buy art, and began to assist her contemporaries with cultivating new collections.

CAROLE SERVER

Carole Server is a retired Wall Street executive who collects are actively with her husband. They collect mid-career and emerging artists. She is the Board Vice Chair of the Bronx Museum, and a Fountainhead and Rema Hort Mann Foundation Trustee. Carole frequently opens her home to collectors and Museum groups from all over the world.

NICO WHEADON

Nico Wheadon is the founding executive director of NXTHVN, a multidisciplinary arts incubator in New Haven committed to fortifying the broader arts economy through strategic partnerships with the education, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and government sectors. She is also an adjunct assistant professor of Art History and Africana Studies at Barnard College, and Professional Practices at Hartford Art School.

Wheadon is an independent writer and regular contributor to The Brooklyn Rail, Artnet and C&, with her first manuscript slated for publication by Rowman & Littlefield in 2021. She is the former director of public programs and community engagement at the Studio Museum in Harlem, where she was celebrated for the pioneering artist projects, community engagement initiatives, and strategic partnerships she delivered during her five-year tenure.

SHARA HUGHES

Shara Hughes (b. 1981, Atlanta, GA) earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and later attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Recent solo exhibitions include The Arts Club, London, England; Galerie Eva Presenhuber, Zurich, Switzerland; the Newport Art Museum, Newport, RI; Gallery Met at the Metropolitan Opera, New York, NY; and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, Atlanta, GA; among many others.

In May 2018, Hughes completed Carving Out Fresh Options, a large-scale mural in Boston, MA commissioned by the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy in partnership with the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum. Hughes has participated in numerous group exhibitions, at venues such as MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA and the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA. The artist was also included in the 2017 Whitney Biennial at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY.

TOMASHI JACKSON

Tomashi Jackson (born 1980) is an American multimedia artist working across painting, video, textiles and sculpture. Jackson was born in Houston, Texas, raised in Los Angeles, and currently lives and works in New York, NY and Cambridge, MA. Jackson was named a 2019 Whitney Biennial participating artist. Jackson currently working on a show and publication for an Exhibition at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. She is currently represented by Tilton Gallery in NYC and Night Gallery in LA.

AARON JOHNSON

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, in 1975, Aaron Johnson currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, USA. He holds an MFA from Hunter College, New York, 2005.

His work has been included in museum exhibitions at The Museum of Modern Art, Mass MoCA, The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, The Knoxville Museum of Contemporary Art, and The Katzen Center at American University; and is held in important private and public collections worldwide including MoMA New York, NY, USA. His work has been exhibited at galleries internationally and is currently on view at Over The Influence, Los Angeles in the solo exhibition Cosmic Devotion.
