Future Fair is pleased to announce the exhibitor list for its sixth edition, which will take place in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood in May 2026. The Fair returns to Chelsea Industrial (535 W 28th St, New York, NY 10001), welcoming 68 local, national and international exhibitors. Future Fair will host a VIP Preview on Wednesday, May 13, and will be open to the public May 14-15, 2026.

“We’re invigorated by the many artists in this year’s fair who are documenting the complexity of our time with clarity and conviction. While headlines might dwell on challenges and gallery closures, another story is unfolding: new galleries opening, fresh perspectives rising, and a growing sense of hope that keeps our community moving forward.

Our exhibitors span established brick-and-mortar galleries, artist-run initiatives, and dynamic collaborative platforms that reflect how the gallery model continues to evolve. Together, they form a community energized by the opportunity to present their artists on one of the most important stages for contemporary art: New York City.  Behind every booth are artists who have spent months in their studios bringing these works into being, and we want visitors to feel that excitement, dedication, and joy when they enter the fair.”  - Rachel Mijares Fick and Rebeca Laliberte, Co-Founders

Now in its sixth year, Future Fair continues its work as a forward-thinking exhibition championing curatorial vision, access, and growth in the global art industry. A place of convergence for artists, galleries, curators, collectors, and cultural patrons, the fair welcomes and empowers both new and established voices to participate, connect, and grow together. Through the Pay-It-Forward Fund, 15% of Future Fair’s annual profits are reinvested as grants for select participating galleries, furthering the fair's commitment to a more sustainable and equitable art market.

The 2026 edition features 68 exhibitors from 9 countries across 4 continents, reflecting the fair’s ongoing commitment to presenting a wide spectrum of artistic voices. Nearly half of the roster hails from the New York tri-state area, underscoring the fair’s deep roots in the local art community. 6 Los Angeles exhibitors and 4 from Miami, as well as representation from Nashville, Minneapolis and across the country, all speak to the breadth of the American scene. A quarter of the fair is international, with this edition welcoming 5 Canadian and 3 Mexican galleries, who are a part of 16 global presentations, including the UK, South Korea, Japan, Colombia, France, and the UAE.

Future Fair is honored to collaborate once again with a Curatorial Committee, now in its third iteration. The 2026 committee, which includes Elisa Carollo, Art Writer, Art Advisor and Curator; Patton Hindle, Director/Arts, Knight Foundation; and Lisa Young and Steven Abraham, Collectors and Founders of The Here and There Collective, plays a vital role in shaping the fair's scope, nominating galleries, reviewing presentations, and ensuring that the most compelling new and underrecognized voices are represented. Their combined expertise spans critical writing, nonprofit grantmaking, and community-centered collecting, reflecting the fair's commitment to drawing together leaders who are actively shaping the field.
